After you apply
A site inspection will be conducted to determine whether it is possible to provide a bay as requested. You do not need to be present for this. We will take account of issues such as road safety, access to premises, traffic flow and the interests of the owners and occupiers of adjoining properties. Every application represents a unique case, and a final decision will be made by the investigating officer or traffic engineer based on its merits.
After the site inspection we will write to you with our decision within ten working days. If we accept your application, it will take approximately six weeks to complete, however may take longer depending on the weather conditions. You do not need to be present for the road marking to be installed.
