Reasons you may appeal
There are a number of reasons why you might want to appeal a school place refusal. Some common reasons include:
- You believe that the school has not applied its admission policy correctly. For example, if you believe that the school has made a mistake in calculating your child's priority, or if you believe that the school has not considered all of the relevant information in your application.
- You have exceptional circumstances that warrant your child being offered a place at the school. For example, if your child has a medical condition that requires them to attend a particular school, or if your child has a sibling who already attends the school and it would be detrimental to their well-being to be separated.
