Delays to clinical waste collections

Due to Operational issues, there will be disruptions to the clinical collection service on the 12th and 13th March.

Bin Deliveries are also affected and there is currently a backlog of approximately 6 weeks.  We aim to complete these as soon as possible.

Clinical waste is the collection of any items of waste that may cause infection to any person coming into contact with it. This type of waste requires a specialist collection and must be disposed of in the correct container.

Please note that clinical waste bags and sharps bins are not collected with regular household waste. They require a separate collection with its own schedule.
