Knowsley Council is committed to supporting the next generation of talented individuals. That's why we established our Graduate Programme in 2021. This programme has been a great success in attracting and developing skilled graduates who are keen to build a rewarding career in local government.

Twice-yearly recruitment

We recruit graduates in two cohorts per year, in January and June.

Collaboration with universities

We partner with universities and other relevant organisations to attract and recruit talented graduates from a variety of backgrounds. This ensures we can meet the needs of our various teams and build a sustainable succession plans.
