Supporting evidence required
Resident permit
- Proof of vehicle registration
- Vehicle registration document (V5C) or your full Motability Agreement
- Certificate of motor insurance
All documents must show address and vehicle registration number.
If you are not the registered keeper, please supply a letter of authorisation from the vehicle owner i.e. Company etc., stating that you are the usual keeper of the vehicle. This letter should include your name, address, and vehicle details.
Visitor Permit
- Proof of residency
- provide a copy of your Council Tax bill for the current year showing the name of the person applying for the permit
- provide a copy of a utility bill, dated within the last three months showing the name of the person applying
- solicitor completion letter or copy of your tenancy agreement
All documents must be in the name of the person applying.
Business permit
- Proof of vehicle registration document (V5C) or your full Motability Agreement
or Certificate of motor insurance
All documents must show business address and vehicle registration number.
- Proof of business rates
Provide a copy of your business rates bill for the current year showing the name of the business applying for the permit.
