Pharmacies
Pharmacists are trained health professionals who provide advice on medications for treating a wide range of minor illnesses, no appointment necessary.
They can offer clinical advice and over the counter medicines for a range of minor illnesses, such as coughs, colds, sore throats, tummy trouble and aches and pains.
There are lots of local pharmacies in Knowsley with many being open late into the evening and over weekends. No appointment is necessary and most pharmacies have a private consultation room where you can discuss issues without being overheard.
If your symptoms are more serious, pharmacies will be able to refer you to your GP, Walk in centre or hospital.
