You can share information with Merseyside Police by ringing 101 (999 in an emergency situation) or share information anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Serious and Organised Crime involves groups or networks of individuals working together for an extended period of time to plan, co-ordinate and conduct serious crime.
These people are, more often than not, motivated to commit these serious crimes by the potential of financial gain.
The types of criminal activities that gangs are involved in include class A drug dealing, child criminal exploitation, cyber-crime, the use of weapons and violence and human trafficking. Other indicators of serious organised crime could be money laundering or people living beyond their means from the proceeds of crime.
Serious violent crime has no place in Knowsley and the wider Liverpool City Region. Communities play an important role in identifying those responsible and we continue to urge our residents to come forward with any information about those who are involved in serious crime.
