Cronton C.E. Primary School provides mainstream education for children aged 3 to 11 years. It has a purpose-built 26-place nursery that offers part-time provision for 3 and 4 year olds. The main school accommodates up to 30 pupils in each age group.
The school follows the teachings of the Church of England. Pupils of other denominations are welcome, but parents are expected to support the school's philosophy. The school is popular and is usually oversubscribed.
The church holds services in the school building every Sunday morning.
