The Local Authority consulted with schools, neighbouring local authorities, church authorities and parents/members of the public before determining admission arrangements for 2024/25. An on-line public consultation was undertaken via the Knowsley Council website for the required six-week period from 19 December 2022 to 31 January 2023.
Determined admission arrangements

The Local Authority also formulate the co-ordinated primary and secondary admission schemes which confirm the procedures for applying for places and the allocation process for entry to school in the 2024/25 school year. The schemes apply to all schools/academies in the Local Authority area.
Academies and Voluntary Aided Schools (Catholic and Church of England) also determine their admission arrangements on an annual basis.
