Early intervention and prevention
Early intervention and prevention involves working with people at the earliest opportunity to prevent existing health and care needs from deteriorating as well as supporting people to effectively manage any issues that they may be experiencing.
This can include providing information and advice, a referral to community-based support services or intensive support for a short period of time. We can also provide people with equipment or assistive technology tools to help them remain independent in their own home and helping residents to retain or regain their skills and confidence, for example after a period of injury or illness.
Often people find the support they need is readily on hand through family and friends, but in Knowsley there is lots of support available to help you when you need it.
