Who will own my data once I submit it?

Why do you need my information?
As part of consultation, we may ask for feedback from professionals, volunteers and or the public regarding safeguarding arrangements in Knowsley. For training purposes those registering and booking onto training are asked to provide basic information such as name, email address, phone number, organisation address, role, managers email address.
What allows you to use my information?
We are relying on the individual’s consent, they have the right to withdraw their consent at any time.
Who will my information be shared with?
The Knowsley Safeguarding Children Partnership is a multi-agency partnership consisting of the following partners, feedback from consultations and training data may be shared with them:
Knowsley Council, CAFCASS, Education Providers, Livv Housing Group, CCG, YOS, Alder Hey, NWBH, Local Councillor, Probation, Safer Communities, NHS England, Knowsley Youth Mutual, Public Health, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service.
Do I have to provide this information and what will happen if I don’t?
Any surveys or consultation is a voluntary process, if individuals wish to access our training provision they are required to provide the details highlighted above so that we can monitor attendance and evaluation to ensure that we provide an effective, suitable training offer to the right practitioners and agencies.
How long will you keep this data for and why?
This information will be stored for up to 25 years.
How will my information be stored?
If the data is collected via a survey, it will be stored via the survey monkey secure profile. All training information is stored via a secure booking system and Elkview system.
Will this information be used to take automated decisions about me?
No
Will my data be transferred abroad?
No
What rights do I have when it comes to my data?
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights with regard to your personal data: -
- The right to subject access – you have the right to see a copy of the personal data that the Council holds about you and find out what it is used for
- The right to rectification – you have the right to ask the council to correct or remove any inaccurate data that we hold about you
- The right to erasure (right to be forgotten) you have the right to ask the council to remove data that we hold about you
