Litter and dog fouling

Anyone found dropping litter, not cleaning up after their dog or fly tipping could be subject to a fine and/or criminal prosecution.

The council’s Streetscene team provides a range of services including litter picking, emptying litter bins, maintaining public open spaces (including grass verges) and clearing fly tipping if and when it occurs.

Remember, the best way residents can keep the place tidy is by disposing of waste appropriately and using the public bins provided.
