- The route your child walks to the nearest Knowsley school is unsafe. This will be assessed by Knowsley Council.

- aged 11 to 16 and their school is 2 to 6 miles away - as long as there are not 3 or more suitable schools nearer to home

If your child has special educational needs, a disability, or a mobility problem
Your child may be entitled to a Merseytravel People with Disabilities pass. This pass allows 24 hour access to buses, trains and Ferries. You can check if they are eligible online here.
If your child is not eligible for a Merseytravel pass
Please continue with the Knowsley bus pass application.
If your child attends a specialist provision the application will not receive an automatic decision as a member of the team will assess for eligibility and contact you if necessary. If your child attends a Mainstream School that is out of the remit of a standard bus pass eligibility assessment you may need to appeal the decision. Appeals will be assessed on individual circumstances.
